Acceptance of These Terms

Opening any page on this site means accepting the terms set out below. Where a term here is unacceptable, the correct response is to stop using the site. Creating an account confirms acceptance a second time, and does so on the date the account is opened.

What This Site Provides

Everything published here is general educational writing about property, vehicle, health and personal protection cover. It explains how policies are structured and what common wording means.

• No page here is insurance advice tailored to an individual situation.
• Nothing here quotes, binds, issues, amends or cancels a policy of any kind.
• No recommendation is made toward any insurer, broker or specific product.
• Actual cover is governed entirely by the wording of the policy document a reader signs.

Accounts and Eligibility

Accounts are available to residents of the United States who are eighteen years or older. Details given at signup must be accurate and kept current, and the login credentials attached to an account are the responsibility of whoever holds them.

An account found to carry false details, or being used by someone other than the person who opened it, may be closed without notice.

Acceptable Use

Use of this site is limited to reading and to the ordinary operation of an account. The following are not permitted.

• Copying, republishing or reselling material from these pages without written permission.
• Automated scraping, crawling or bulk extraction of content.
• Attempting to reach accounts, servers or data belonging to anyone else.
• Interfering with the operation of the site or the software behind it.
• Submitting false details, or using the contact form to send unsolicited material.

Messaging and Contact Consent

Consent for account messages and consent for promotional messages are given separately at signup, and neither is required in order to read anything published here. Message frequency varies with account activity, and standard message and data rates may apply.

Replying STOP ends that stream of messages and replying HELP returns support information. How contact details are handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

The written material, layout, graphics and brand marks on this site are protected and remain the property of their owner. A page may be read, printed for personal reference and linked to. Republishing it, adapting it or presenting it as somebody else's work is not permitted.

Some pages point outward to insurers, regulators or reference material. Those destinations are not controlled from here, and a link is not an endorsement of what sits at the other end. Anything that happens after leaving this site falls under the terms of the site being visited.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Disputes that cannot be settled informally are resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, and class or representative proceedings are waived. Claims that qualify for small claims court may be brought there instead.

Suspension and Termination

Access to an account, or to the site generally, may be suspended or withdrawn where these terms are breached or where activity risks harm to other readers or to the service. An account can also be closed at any time by request, and the sections of these terms that are meant to outlast an account continue to apply afterwards.

These terms are revised as the site changes or as legal obligations shift. The updated date at the top of the page always reflects the current version, and continued use of the site after a revision means the revised terms apply.
